Work Order Solicitation

Youth Diversion & Development Services

The Department of Youth Development is seeking community-based organizations to provide diversion services for young people across Los Angeles County and referred by various justice system partners.  Selected providers will deliver individualized, developmentally and culturally appropriate services to youth including but not limited to case management, restorative practices, counseling, mentoring, and connections to community resources.  The program seeks to help youth address their needs, avoid deeper involvement in the justice system, and achieve positive outcomes in their communities.

The JSSMA helps streamline the contracting process by creating a list of pre-qualified vendors for specific services. This means there are two steps required to apply for funding opportunities with the Department of Youth Development. Step 1 is required only once. Step 2 should be completed to apply for each new funding opportunity.

Step 1: Apply for JSSMA. Visit Doing Business Solicitations Search Page, search JC-110424-J1, and click the Solicitation Number to view details and download files. To submit your application, email completed documents to the Justice, Care and Opportunities Solicitations Team at solicitations@jcod.lacounty.gov.

Step 2: Apply for any new DYD Work Order Solicitation. Visit Solicitations Search Page, click “Search by Department”, select Youth Development, and open any relevant opportunities. To submit your application, email completed documents and any questions to the DYD Solicitations Team at solicitations@dyd.lacounty.gov.

Once an organization is on the JSSMA list, they will be able to apply to future DYD Solicitations for any of the following services:
