Community Dialogue Event – Sylmar

The Department of Youth Development will be holding Community Dialogue Events throughout May and June with community and County partners to discuss the Probation Department’s Facility Plan, which affects young people in the County’s juvenile hall, camp, and Secure Youth Treatment Facilities.

These dialogues are an opportunity for impacted youth, families, and the broader community to learn about the plan and provide feedback. Each event will include presentations from involved County departments, participant discussion, and the chance to share individual perspectives on the necessary supports for young people and their families during implementation.

We invite you to register for the event that is nearest to you at tinyurl.com/PFPDialogues. Food and activities for children will be provided. A virtual option will also be made available should we run out of space.
